Among the selections is Charlotte Brontë Before Jane Eyre by Glynnis Fawkes, one of two books the graphic artist/cartoonist released this year. Also on the list is a prequel to Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol called Marley, by Vermont author Jon Clinch. For a quicker read, try the oddly charming short fiction by Burlington writer Erik Esckilsen. Or snag a copy of the debut poetry book by songwriter Kristina Stykos.
