Northern Benefits was founded in 1999 by three employees of a health-insurance company that was leaving Vermont. Since its inception, the company has grown to employ 13 people in three states. As health benefit costs increase and availability of funding becomes tighter, new solutions are required. The group’s leaders bring practical experience from provider, employer and practitioner perspectives as the majority of the company’s employees have worked with carriers.
