Obituary: Ruth Baine Lovelette

Ruth Baine Lovelette, age 92 years, a resident of the Saint Albans area for nearly 30 years, died Friday morning, February 27, 2015, at the Saint Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Robbinston, Maine on, October 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Rolfe) Baine. She was a graduate of Shead Memorial High School in Eastport, Maine and was married to Charles W. Lovelette who predeceased her in 1997.

Ruth loved her family especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed knitting, gardening and long walks.

She leaves her daughter, Lynnda Bliss and husband Jack of Saint Albans; a son, Charles Alan Lovelette and wife Leigh of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren, Kim and husband, Russ Walters, Scott Lovelette and wife Nora, Jean, Julieanne and Rachelle Lovelette, Katy Bliss and fiancée Adam, Sean Bliss and wife, Sarah, and Jason Bliss and wife, Megan; great grandchildren, Brian Olson and David and Maria Lovelette; daughter-in-law, Frannie Lovelette of Montpelier; a special sisietr-in-law, Louise Baine of Eastport, Maine; nieces, Sharon Cook, Cindy Baine and Dell Barter and nephews, Mike Baine and Bill Hayward.

In addition to her parents Ruth was predeceased by a sister, Lou Hayward and a brother, Buddy Baine.

Private Funeral Services with The Reverend Daniel Brueckner officiating will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal Services and Interment will be held in the Spring at Riverside Cemetery, Swanton.

There will be no public calling hours.
