Mary Lottie Santor, age 91 years, died suddenly Tuesday morning, September 8, 2015, at the home of her son Larry in Alburgh.

Born in St. Albans on, July 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John E. Jr. and Flora (Pelkey) Duchaine. She attended Alburgh schools and on, February 8, 1943, was married to Albert Santor who predeceased her on, July 29, 1998. She was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church and the auxiliaries of the American Legion, Creller-Landon Post 60 and the Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department.

Lottie will especially be remembered for the antique business she operated in Alburgh for many years .She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed her many trips to the Akwesasne Casino in New York State. She also loved lawn sales, grocery shopping and drinking her coffee. She was a great dancer.

Lottie leaves her two children, Flora Greeno and husband Robert and Larry Santor and his wife Pauline all of Alburgh; a brother, David Duchaine and his wife Janice of Shelburne; a sister-in-law, Mary Santor of Burlington; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Albert, Lottie was predeceased by two brothers, Russell and Douglas Duchaine and a great grandson, Tyler Greeno.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 12 noon, from St. Amadeus Roman Catholic Church, 9 North Main St., Alburgh Village. Father Thomas D. Nadeau will officiate. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Santor family lot in St. Amadeus Cemetery.

Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Gifts in Lottie’s memory may be made to the Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue, 4 Firehouse Road, Alburgh 05440.
