Obituary: Jon Edward Boise

Jon Edward Boise, 62, of Huntington died on March 21, 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

He was born on September 24, 1953 in Morocco the son of Homer and Margaret (Warner) Boise. He worked at the Postal Service for 35 years and served his country in the U.S. Army. Jon was a longtime Huntington resident who loved his family and friends and was there to lend a helping hand at any time. He very much loved his hometown and all those who knew him and his truck.

He is survived by his wife Jacquelyn; three daughters, Charlene (Dan) Murray, Deann Adams and Chynah Boise; one grandson, Trace M. Harpe; his two brothers David (Lisa) Boise and Timothy (Cheryl) Boise; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Patricia C. and Richard H. Wilson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Timothy (Melissa) Casey, John (Lara) Casey, Patricia (Norbert) Rafter, Victoria (Michael) Cootware, Marcee (James) Rossignol and Emilie Flores; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret (Warner) Boise his father, Homer J. Boise, his step mother Gloria J. Boise; his brother Michael P. Boise and his brother-in-law Robert M. Casey.

A time of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the VFW Post #6689 in Essex Jct. from 10 am to 2 pm.
