1937-2013, Hopedale, MA

Leon K. “Nudge” Najarian, of Hopedale died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at home. He was born on May 13, 1937 in Dorchester the son of the late Nevart and Krikor Najarian. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela; his children Laurie and Randall Olson of Silverhill, AL and Greg Najarian and Alyssa Valle of Oxford, MA; grandchildren Jared, Kayla, and Ryan Olson and Cassidy Najarian; his brother George Najarian and his wife Jean of Walpole; several nieces and nephews.

In 1999 he retired as a Field Service Tech from the mechanical manufacturing industry after working for such companies as Raytheon, Coulter and Bose. He was a lifetime member of the Hopedale Pistol and Rifle Club, where he served as treasurer, and the Maspenock Rod and Gun Club, Milford.

In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, traveling and most especially riding his Harley to such places as Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and cross country to South Dakota.
