Tom Lehrer, a satirist, songwriter and mathematician, is known for the expressive and acerbic ditties he recorded during the 1950s and ’60s. Making use of a razor-edged tongue, he covered topics ranging from the American military to the periodic table. In 1980, British director Cameron Mackintosh gathered 28 of those mordant melodies for the stage. His revue of the trenchant tunes remains popular, and relevant, to this day. Catch the show and some laughs in the upcoming production by Lost Nation Theater.
