October '08 Jam
Saturday, October 25, 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
IDX Student Center, Champlain College, Burlington
Exhibitors and Demos: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This October's Tech Jam has an intentional how-to focus. The aim is to help attendees understand what Vermont’s various tech jobs entail. How does a graphic designer transition to web development? Is “biotech” genetic engineering? What does a “Chief Technical Officer” do? Do you have to be a cop to bust pedophiles on the Internet? Is it really possible to build “socially responsible” video games?
Each presentation is 30-45 minutes with a 15-minute break between sessions.
