3/7/14: For years, sugaring has been a tradition at Rock Point School in Burlington. Three years ago, it even became a part of their academic curriculum and students learn the culture, history and how-tos of syrup production at the sugar shack constructed on site.
Each season, the students hold tours for about 300 local children to share their knowledge of sugaring. Eva tags along for a tour with a group from Children's Preschool and Enrichment Center in Essex Junction on Friday afternoon.
Next weekend Rock Point welcomes the community on March 15th for their 3rd Annual Maple Run & Brunch.
