Local Matters

Protestors from throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and the wider region marched to the steps of the Capitol in Montpelier on Saturday, September 24. The crowd, which organizers estimated at 1500, had come out to oppose the war in Iraq. In Montpelier, speakers, musicians and other presenters called for the pull-out of troops and for an end to the war.
