John was the first born to George and Harriet (Mulheron) Rocheleau on February 5, 1944; On August 3, 2015, he succumbed to cancer at his home surrounded by his family that loved him unconditionally. He graduated from BFA St. Albans and worked for IBM for 27years.

Johnny was a Viet Nam veteran. He loved fishing and hunting with his sons and brothers. He was a handyman and was relied on by his wife and kids to fix most anything around their homes.

On April 11, 1970, Johnny married Anna Manchester and they had six wonderful children. In order of age Glenn Rocheleau, Todd Rocheleau, Tina and husband Scott Tomasi, Julie Pike, Robert and his wife Nikki Rocheleau and Elizabeth Rocheleau and her fiancé William Haffly. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and one great grandson. Johnny’s sister and brothers, Linda and Hank Gadouas, Steve and Janice Rocheleau, and Thomas Rocheleau. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald Manchester and Linda, Lorraine and Timothy Raymond, Larry and Kristi Manchester, Sandi and Bruce Pouliot and Jeffrey and Sharon Hill. He was predeceased by his father and mother and sister-in-law, Linda Rocheleau and Janice Manchester

A Funeral Service celebrating Johnny’s life will be held Monday, August 10, 2015, at 4 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father Luke P. Austin will officiate. The Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1p.m. until the hour of the service.
