Gemma C. Hubbard, age 50 years, died at her Highgate Road home on Sunday November 2014, with loving family at her side, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Buenavista, Philippines on September 12, 1964, she was the daughter of Marcelino and Euferina (Aviso) Casinillo. She attended Xavier University located in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, graduating in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. On June 8, 2000, she was married to Glenn Hubbard who survives her.

Since living in the United States Gemma has worked for TD Banknorth, and the FCI Immigration Service Center. She was very devout in her Roman Catholic faith and faithfully attended The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In addition to her husband, Glenn and her mother, Euferina Casinillo. Gemma leaves her daughter, Cheyanne of Swanton and her sisters, Edith Yap and Emily Itac, several nieces and nephews as well as a large number of friends throughout Vermont and Northern, New York State.

She was predeceased by her father, Marcelino Casinillo.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue Swanton Father Julian Asucan will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
