Obituary: Ernest George "Buck" Lockerby, Jr

Ernest George "Buck" Lockerby, Jr., age 64 years, died early Sunday morning, August 4, 2013, in the Saint Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Isle La Motte, Vermont on, December 29, 1948, he was the son of the late Ernest George Sr. and Blanche Irene (Curtis) Lockerby. He attended Isle La Motte schools and served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam Era.

Buck will be remembered for his sense of adventure from parachuting to deep sea diving and was always ready to tell or laugh at a good joke.

He leaves behind nephews, John and Jeff Fleury and their families; seven additional nieces, nephews and their families and many great and great great nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents Buck was predeceased by his sister, Laura Fleury and two brothers, Clarence and David Lockerby.

Funeral Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton 05488.
