Dwayne (Dobie) Allen Lapan died unexpectedly, April 9, 2015, at his Georgia Shore residence.

Dwayne was born, June 24, 1966, in St. Albans. He leaves behind his parents, Robert (Bucky) Lapan, Sr. and his mother, Shirley (Peanut) Lapan of Swanton.

Beside his parents Dobie is survived by his brother, Robert (Bobby) Lapan, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Swanton; his sister, Kelly Williams and her husband Pete of Swanton and his brother, Fred Lapan and his wife April of Raleigh, NC; nieces and nephews, Beth, Jami, Aireonna, Emma, John and Freddie of Swanton; his three children, Heather Simmon, Melissa and William Lapan.

Dobie was predeceased by a niece, Ashley Lapan on April 6, 2005.

There will be no calling hours or services at this time.
