Some would say it’s never too early to haul out the holly, deck the halls and rock around the Christmas tree. Those who just can’t wait to start jingling all the way can dive into the spirit of the season with Northern Stage’s production of the classic holiday play A Christmas Carol. Broadway veteran Bill Kux stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in this adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story of ghosts, greed and, ultimately, redemption and benevolence. As director Peter Hackett says in a press release, Dickens “believed that it was every person’s responsibility to watch out for his neighbor, because in the end we are, as human beings, all on the same journey.” Now, that’s what we call Christmas spirit.

Price: $14-64.
