With a new year comes a new way of leaving comments here on Blurt. We've installed the Disqus commenting widget, which you may have seen before — more than a million websites use Disqus to handle their comments now. We're considering this a trial run, so if it fails miserably, we'll switch back to the old way or do something new. But we like Disqus so far, and we think you'll like it too.
Here are some preemptive answers to questions. If you have other questions, leave a comment in the shiny new Disqus widget box below, or email me (tyler at sevendaysvt dot com).

From 2014-2020, Seven Days allowed readers to comment on all stories posted on our website. While we've appreciated the suggestions and insights, right now Seven Days is prioritizing our core mission — producing high-quality, responsible local journalism — over moderating online debates between readers.
To criticize, correct or praise our reporting, please send us a letter to the editor or send us a tip. We’ll check it out and report the results.
Online comments may return when we have better tech tools for managing them. Thanks for reading.
