11/4/17: Mill Girls is a new play with music that illuminates the lives of 19th century young women who toiled in the mills of Lowell, Massachusetts. Compiled and written by Peter Harrigan and Tom Cleary, a lively cast of students act, dance and sing traditional songs and original compositions. The two weekend run at Saint Michael's College has proven very popular with packed houses that signify the importance of the mills in Winooski's past. Admission is free but you have to get there early if you want to secure a spot.
