At The Windjammer Restaurant and Upper Deck Pub in South Burlington, the wine list is a labor of love that has won the esteemed Wine Spectator Award of Excellence — and so they've come up with some tantalizing wine pairings to complement their $25 dinner menu. For $15, guests can add the suggested pairings for each course, such as an Illahe Viognier with the artisan cheese board; a Kono Sauvignon Blanc with Dijon-and-sweet-potato-crusted Atlantic salmon fillet; and a St. Supéry Moscato with their 24-Karat Cake.

Further north at Steeple Market in Fairfax, the wine pairings come in the form of a bottle you can pick up with your take-out meal. Suggested libations for the $15 dinner menu include a Primal Roots Red Blend (a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Zinfandel) with pan-seared pork loin in a walnut-Parmesan crust; and Dreaming Tree Chardonnay with a raspberry cheesecake.
