Looking for some Spanish flair this Vermont Restaurant Week? Montpelier is the place, where the Black Door will be serving up dishes from chef-owner Ignacio Ruiz's homeland.
Diners can start with mushrooms or shrimp in garlic sauce with a hint of spicy paprika, or they can dig into a plate of cured Spanish meats. From seafood stew to a burger made from local beef, entrées can please adventurous and cautious eaters alike. Of course, no one will be able to turn down pots de crème or a chocolate chip cookie brownie.
