They both belong to the Rovetto family and both Piecasso Pizzeria & Lounge in Stowe and Positive Pie 2 in Montpelier are offering way more than pizza this Restaurant Week.
Piecasso, located right on the Mountain Road, gives the choice of a personal pizza among its entrées. However, locally inspired dishes such as a vegetable Napoleon with celeriac and artichoke purée take up most of the $25 menu. Even if you don't have a sweet tooth, dessert will work out for you. Options include cannoli and cheesecake, but also a cup of cappuccino or a latté.
The $35 menu at Montpelier's Positive Pie is a seafood feast. Appetizers include Maine jumbo blue mussels with applewood-smoked bacon and Cold Hollow cider. Among the entrése, there's steak frites, but also marinated seabass or risotto with pan-seared scallops.
