Looking for eclectic, super-local fare? Bar Antidote in Vergennes has the prescription — literally. The speakeasy is offering three different menus: two for $25 and one for $35.
Just how local is the food? Take the Barnumtown Farms plate as an example. It includes pork rillettes made from chef Ian Huizenga's own pigs, as well as homemade spring-onion mustard and pickled rhubarb. It's served with bread from the Vergennes Laundry, just around the corner.

While we champion free speech, facts are a matter of life and death during the coronavirus pandemic, and right now Seven Days is prioritizing the production of responsible journalism over moderating online debates between readers.
