Chef-owner Doug Mack's fresh, seasonal fare is available for limited indoor dining and takeout with curbside pickup. Go online to see the menu, then call to make a dining reservation or place an order to-go; open Friday through Sunday, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Don't forget Mary's "world-renowned" cream of garlic soup. Beer, wine and specialty cocktails are packaged for takeout, too.

Chef-owner Doug Mack — one of the founding members of the Vermont Fresh Network — cooks seasonal fare out of a 1797 farmhouse with a huge kitchen garden. Weekends only in winter; daily breakfast for inn guests.
