The holiday season is in full swing in the little town of Greensboro. The Greensboro Arts Alliance & Residency/The Mirror Theater, LTD, makes days merry and bright with a lineup of music and theater. Kicking off the festivities is famed folk singer-songwriter David Mallett (pictured), who takes to the Greensboro United Church of Christ sanctuary to serve up original numbers and holiday classics. Tony Award-nominated artist-in-residence Marla Schaffel joins Mallett for his Saturday concert alongside several local songsters. The merrymaking continues Sunday with a staged reading of Katherine Paterson’s new play, Good King Wenceslas. Visit themirror.org for a full schedule of yuletide events.
