Eisley, Civilian, Backwards Dancer

When: Thu., March 2, 8 p.m. 2017

Sherri DuPree-Bemis and her siblings grew up in an intensely musical household. That foundation led to the formation of rock band Eisley, which has been active for nearly two decades. In that time, members of the DuPree clan have shifted in and out, including siblings Chauntelle D’Agostino and Stacy King. Cousins Remington and Garron DuPree are part of the current lineup; the latter is also the bassist for the rock band Say Anything. Completing the musical family circle, Say Anything front man Max Bemis is DuPree-Bemis’ husband. Eisley’s latest album, I’m Only Dreaming, is a collection of modern rock that draws on the family’s southern roots. Catch Eisley on Thursday, March 2, at the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge in South Burlington. Civilian and Backwards Dancer open.

Price: $15/17
