Burlington Discover Jazz Festival: Julian Lage

A child prodigy, guitarist Julian Lage turned pro when he was just 7 years old. The following year, he shared the stage with Carlos Santana and was the subject of the acclaimed documentary Jules at Eight. His first trip to the Grammy Awards? That came at the ripe old age of 11. Since then, the virtuoso's blend of blues, classical, folk and jazz has secured his status as "a giant in the making," according to All About Jazz. Known for his jaw-dropping technique, Lage regularly collaborates with top international artists. He treats music lovers to a solo show as part of the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival.
