Club Metronome — Did you know that, until fairly recently, it was illegal to dance in a Burlington bar or club while holding a drink? Fortunately, that comically prudish blue law has been banished from the books. Not that it ever put much of a damper on the boogie business at Club Metronome. anks to long-running residencies such as the weekly 1980s dance party Retronome and regularly hosting electronic dance music DJs of local, national and international renown, the dance fl oor above iconic Burlington club Nectar’s is always packed — and well lubricated.
