First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the reality of cohabiting with someone you’ve promised to love and cherish for the rest of your life. For Paul and Corie Bratter, the main characters in Neil Simon’s comedy Barefoot in the Park, that last part is the challenge. The Essex Community Players kick off their 60th season by reprising the play, made famous by a 1967 film adaptation starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. Adam Cunningham directs Lauren Patterson and Andy Sebranek as the young lovebirds learning to navigate marriage after the honeymoon.

Price: $14-18.
