Calendar listings are free and must be received in writing by Thursday at noon for the following week's paper. Requests for calendar spotlights must be made at least two weeks in advance and must be accompanied by a good-quality photograph representing the event [minimum 300 dpi if emailed].
Seven Days does not accept unsolicited, one-time cartoons. Cartoonists seeking weekly publication can email samples and web links, or snail mail samples to the address below. Please note that we are not looking for new cartoons at this time, but will keep yours on hand for consideration at a later date. No phone calls, please!
Club listings are free and must be received by Friday at noon for the following week's paper. Click here for club date submission form.

Seven Days does not accept unsolicited fiction. Short fiction is published once a year, in the Winter Reading Issue, and is assigned by the editors.

Internships are available in the sales and marketing departments. Applicants must be earning college credit. We do not accept interns under age 18. We do not offer journalism internships.
Please send a cover letter stating your objectives and interests, along with a resume and estimated schedule for the semester.
If you love, hate or call into question anything published in Seven Days, please let us know! Letters should not exceed around 250 words; be sure to include your name, town and a phone number. (You will receive a call for verification; numbers are not published in the paper.) Anonymous letters will not be published.
If you're a Vermont artist or band, send us your album, EP or single for review. We accept submissions digitally via email, and physically via snail mail or in person at the address below. Music will be reviewed roughly in the order received, with consideration given to release-party dates. Please include all album art and liner notes as well as any additional relevant info about your band and/or project.
