Writer-director Paul Weitz has come a long way since American Pie. First he surprised everybody with About a Boy. Now he's back with a quirky, thoughtful comedy about a 50-year-old ad salesman who finds himself working for a new 26-year-old boss who falls for his daughter, who's just 18. Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace and Scarlett Johansson star. (110 min, PG-13)
