Control Technologies, Inc. is a knowledge-based business that designs and services innovative solutions for web-based facility automation, control of building environments, multi-site facilities management, and energy and operational costs reduction. For more than 20 years, CTI has serviced clients in New England and beyond. The company currently employs approximately 200 people in five full-service locations: Vermont, New Hampshire, Metro Boston, Metro New York and Metro Los Angeles.

CTI process expertise includes commercial and industrial environmental control, process utilities, discrete and on-stream manufacturing process control, microelectronics, biotech, pharmaceutical manufacturing and water and wastewater systems. Last fall, Vermont Business Magazine recognized CTI with "5x5x5" award — for the second time in three years — for being one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Vermont.

From 2014-2020, Seven Days allowed readers to comment on all stories posted on our website. While we've appreciated the suggestions and insights, right now Seven Days is prioritizing our core mission — producing high-quality, responsible local journalism — over moderating online debates between readers.

To criticize, correct or praise our reporting, please send us a letter to the editor or send us a tip. We’ll check it out and report the results.

Online comments may return when we have better tech tools for managing them. Thanks for reading.
