- Pauline Cecile (Jette) Boudreau
Mrs. Pauline Boudreau, 86, a resident of this area for most of her lifetime, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 30, 2014, at Franklin County Rehab surrounded by her beloved family, following a lingering illness.
Born in St. Albans, October 23, 1928 the daughter of the late Henry and Mabel (Columb) Jette, she was raised and educated in Franklin where she graduated from high school. On June 12, 1948 she was married to Philip Boudreau with whom she celebrated 66 years of marriage this summer.
During her working lifetime, Pauline was a nurses aid, first at Holiday House and then, for nearly 20 years at Northwestern Medical Center (then Kerbs Hospital) in the OB/GYN department and in Central Supply. Following Pauline and Philips retirement in 1990, they began spending their summers at their camp on Fairfield Pond and winters in Summerfield, FL. Pauline and Philip were communicants of both St. Marys Church and Holy Angels Church in St. Albans.
In addition to her husband, Philip, Pauline is survived by their four sons; James of Highgate Ctr., David and his wife Donna of Georgia, Ronald and his wife Jennie of Sheldon and Ricky of Swanton, two sisters; Madeline McDermott of Enosburg Falls and Rosemary Stanley of Highgate Ctr., one brother, Edmund Jette of Arkansas, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; Brent and wife Kim Boudreau and their children Kaley, Brody and Macie, Hilary (Boudreau) and husband Travis Fraties and their children, Gavin, Grace and Gabrielle, Matt and wife Amber Boudreau and their children Olivia and Paisley, Jessica (Boudreau) and husband Greg Machia and their son Dustin, Tyrell and wife Erynn Boudreau and their children Emmett and Finley, Chelsea (Boudreau) and husband Tyler Delorme and Kyle Boudreau; sister-in-law, Matilda Vantilborgh and husband Paul of Cowansville, Quebec, Canada, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Boudreau, Beverly Jette, Howard Bruce Stanley and Stanley Buzz McDermott.
Paulines family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the management and staff of the Franklin County Rehab Center and Northwestern Medical Center for all of their support and professional care during Paulines stay with them.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 11 AM from Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, 246 Lake Street, St. Albans City. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton on Friday from 4-7 PM.
