- Linda (Kieselmann) Montgomery
Georgia/MIlton Linda (Kieselmann) Montgomery, RN a longtime area resident passed away Monday February 1, 2016, at the Birchwood Terrace Healthcare Facility following a brief illness.
Born in Mineola, New York on December 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John N. and Marguerite (Locke) Kieselmann, Jr. Linda was 75 years old.
Linda was a 1958 graduate of Bellows Free Academy and then received her Nursing Degree from the University of Vermont in 1962. She began her nursing career at the former Mary Fletcher Hospital and then in 1993, she began a 21 year career with Franklin County Home Health Agency retiring in 2014.
She was a longtime member of the Georgia United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She also was an active member of the St. Albans Community Choir, as well as she sang in other churches in the area. Linda was a longtime member of the Milton Rescue Squad and also enjoyed baking.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bruce E. Montgomery of Georgia; their son, John S. Montgomery of Georgia; their daughter, Christine A. Couture and her husband, Bruce, of Idaho and also her grandchildren, Kyle Couture and twin granddaughters, Danielle and Megan Couture. Linda is also survived by her sister-in-law, Gail Montgomery of Connecticut.
In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Harold and Shirley Montgomery.
Services at the Heald Funeral Home will be announced at a later date. Interment will follow at the family lot in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
