Burlington—Lawrence M. Garrett, 65, passed away at Birchwood Terrace on Friday January 22, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn NY in Nov.6, 1950 to Abraham, Sr. and Mary Jane (Yeargins) Garrett. Lawrence worked in human resources in the mental health field. He will be truly missed as he brightened many people’s lives and touched them with his wisdom. He leaves a brother, Abraham Garrett, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, two sisters: Lynda Dubois Jackson and husband Ernest, of Plainfield, NJ and Loretta Dubois of Brooklyn, NY: a sister-in-law, Kinda Sharpe-Garrett of Winooski,VT, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and families. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Haskell and Stanley Garrett and Alonzo Williams. Service Arrangements by Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home are incomplete.
