Obituary: Janet B. (Guertin) Vittum

Janet B. (Guertin) Vittum, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 2015 in Swanton.

Janet was born in St. Albans on, February 19, 1941, to Theodore and Dorothy Boisvert. Janet was a graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. She worked for many decades at the Northwestern Medical Center, known in the past as Kerbs Memorial Hospital. After “retirement” she worked for the past several years for Doctors Stephen Payne and Michael Kennedy.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; mother, Dorothy and sons, Theodore Brian and Scott. She was predeceased by her father and a sister, Jane as well as her daughter Josselyn Vincelette.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone at the Swanton Health Clinic, the Northwestern Medical Center, the Missisquoi Valley Rescue, and the doctors and staff where she worked, for their kindness and support.

A Memorial Service and Interment will be held in the Spring for both Janet and Josselyn.
