Hilda Mae Bonnett a longtime Franklin County Resident passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls.

Born in Montgomery, on June 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Lumbra) Bonnett. Hilda was 73 years old.

Hilda was educated in Montgomery. She loved country music and watching cartoons. Her most prized possession was her “Bee Baby”. She enjoyed embroidery, word search and coloring books. Hilda was always busy doing something. Aunt Hilda also loved all her summer vacations with Gene and Shelley and their grandchildren.

She is survived by her special nephew, Gene Bonnett and his wife, Shelley, as well as their children and grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Hilda is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; 5 siblings and niece, Patty Shilling and nephew, Michael Shilling.

A special thanks for her loving care at Brownway, Franklin County Home Health Hospice and for the love shown over the years by May Rich and her family, John and Dottie Bolduc, Kay Beaudry and Barb Paradee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday May 2, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with the Reverend Mr. Duane E. Langlois officiating. Interment will be with her parents in St. Isadore’s Cemetery in Montgomery.
