Gladys Marion Lemnah, age 93 years, died early Saturday morning, October 31, 2915, at the Homestead at Harborview in St. Albans Town.
A native of Highgate, Gladys and her husband George lived for 18 years on Lakewood Drive in West Swanton and more recently resided on Bernard St., in Winooski. Earlier they lived for 26 years in the Essex Junction area.
Born in Swanton on, October 13, 1922, Gladys was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mabel (Firkey) Moore. She attended schools in Highgate and was married to George E. Lemnah who predeceased her on, November 8, 2013, following 72 years of marriage.
She was a longtime member of the Highgate United Methodist Church as well as the Order of the Eastern Star.
Gladys leaves her daughter Deborah and husband Roy of St. Albans; a son David Lemnah and his wife Kathy of Florida; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Sharon Rheaume of Franklin.
Besides her parents and husband, Gladys was predeceased by a brother Robert Moore.
There will be no public calling hours.
A private graveside service and interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the Highgate Center Cemetery. The Reverend Kerry T. Cameron will officiate.
