Obituary: Ellen Rose Dimick

Ellen Rose Dimick a lifelong resident of Hardwick died August 2, 2013 at Copley Hospital in Morrisville. She was born in Cabot August 31 1922 the daughter of Edward and Gertrude (Baylaw) Gamble. During her life she assisted her husband David in their rubbish collection business, was employed at Woolworth’s store in St. Johnsbury, Ware-Knitters, of Hardwick, St. J. Gloves and McFeeters Store in East Hardwick. In addition Ellen worked for several local families.

Survivors include her son Lawrence (Larry) Dimick and his wife Darleena as well as 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ellen was predeceased by her husband David, her brothers: Richard, John, William and Robert Gamble. Also by her sisters: Marjorie Rodgers, Mary Salls, Rosetta Gamble and Lena Wilkins.

Graveside services will be at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of des Groseilliers Funeral Home church St. Hardwick
