On September 6 at 7 p.m., the writing begins. On September 7 at 7 p.m., the curtain goes up. The annual Upper Valley 24-Hour Play Festival challenges local playwrights, actors, directors and theater technicians to write, cast, rehearse and stage a collection of 10-minute plays in just one feverish day. After writers spend all night perfecting their one-acts, they hand them over to the people who bring their plays to life. Anyone is allowed to participate, and audiences watch the fruits of all this labor at the end of the day.
Price: $20.
