If you never expected to see an original Swoon in a Rutland basement-cum-gallery space, have we got a show for you. The internationally recognized street artist (aka Caledonia Curry) has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and the Detroit Institute of the Arts, among other venues, and was featured in Banksy’s 2010 pseudo-doc Exit Through the Gift Shop. Now, thanks to the efforts of recent Vermont transplant Alison Wallis, Swoon’s work joins that of 45 other street artists who’ve contributed small-scale paintings and prints to this unprecedented show at the Alley Gallery.
