Merck Forest and Farmland Center
Merck Forest & Farmland Center is a 3,500-acre paradise for nature lovers, outdoor adventurers, and those seeking hiking trails offering multiple levels of challenge and stunning views. Escape the hustle for a hike or camp in one of nine rustic cabins available for rent. In the forest, 35 miles of scenic trails wind through mixed hardwood forests, along streams and ponds and past old sugar houses. Catch the vista from the summit of Mount Antone. At the farm, get up close with the resident farm animals and tour the historic 1850s barn, and outbuildings. Throughout the year, MF&FC offers a variety of expert-led workshops from apple tree pruning and chainsaw safety to wilderness first aid and nature photography.
