Kid Flicks One

When: Sat., July 16, 11 a.m. 2022

The New York International Children’s Film Festival makes a stop in Hanover, N.H., on its nationwide tour. Little cinephiles have the chance to see two different slates of award-winning short films aimed at kids (but with enough charm to delight the whole family). This week, Kid Flicks One features shorts aimed at viewers ages 3 and up, including “Kenya’s Symphony” (pictured), about a young Black girl who goes to see an orchestra for the first time, and “A Lynx in the Town,” about a stories-tall cat that moves to the big city. Next week’s Kid Flicks Two includes multilingual movies for ages 7 and up.

Price: Free; preregister.
