Talks

Ed Koren

When: Wed., March 4, 7-8:30 p.m. 2015

Ed Koren is a volunteer firefighter and longtime resident of Brookfield. He’s also the Vermont cartoonist laureate and a prolific contributor to the New Yorker, with more than 1,000 published pieces in the magazine to date. A master satirist, Koren captures the subtleties of human interaction with his loose style, hairy characters and what the New York Times deems a “pitch-perfect feel for gag lines.” Koren is at the top of his game after more than 50 years in the business, and he discusses his craft as part of the Vermont Humanities Council First Wednesdays series.
