It hardly seems fair that Montpelier gets all those politicians and Olivia, but it's true: The adorable girl-pig heroine of the kiddy-lit Olivia series stars in the town's next StoryWalk - an all-ages, monthlong event that combines reading and exercise. Thirty-two downtown businesses are participating by putting one page each in their windows, along with other porcine décor; a map can be found at the Rite Aid throughout February . . . Speaking of reading: Former Governor Madeleine Kunin presents a sneak peek of her forthcoming book, Pearls, Politics and Power, published by Vermont's Chelsea Green, this Thursday, January 31, at the Black Box Theater in the Lake and College Building in Burlington. (Hillary, are you listening?) The ticketed event benefits Vermont Democrats. Reservations, [email protected] or 229-1783 . . .
