Vermont's arts scene is truly something to celebrate. A three-part online series spotlights creative individuals from various fields — think theater, music, poetry, visual art and dance. Dubbed Unfiltered Spirits
, the series kicks off on Thursday, November 5, at 7:30 p.m. with appearances by sculptor Shirley Reid, jazz poet Namaya and singer Lauren Larken Scuderi, as well as signature Vermont cocktails. "Through the medium of cinematography, we celebrate the diversity and joy of humanity, and the powerful influence of place on our lives," reads the Woodstock Vermont Film Series website. For its 11th annual season, the series goes virtual, offering 15 eye-opening films for online viewing through mid-April. The first is The Pollinators
, a 2019 documentary offering multiple perspectives on the threats facing honey bees. Purchase a pass to watch the picture from home between Friday, November 6, and Sunday, November 8.

Vintage shopping is one way to meld one's sustainable lifestyle with sartorial savvy. To that end, several local sellers set up shop as Collective Collective
