Anybody been reading UVM BARF? Go check it out. They've gotten some pretty wild comments on their previous posts, and have now begun to take action. NCarter blogs today about his quest to find the person ultimately in charge of UVM food services.
Yesterday, he? she? wrote a witty post entitled "Sodhexo talks the talk but does it walk the walk?":
Here is a direct quote from the Sodexo website concerning unversity food: "Wemaximize the nutritional value of every offering, but our ultimate goalis to create food services that evoke a passionate response. To caterto individual tastes, we listen to students. Constantly. Our innovativeprograms meet their every craving, while delivering culinaryexcellence, attentive customer service, and engaging style. "
Now I am a student, and I have a meal plan and have tried letting Sodexo know about my cravings by E-mailing them at CampusServices@SodexhoUSA.com. So far I've gotten no response and the only passionate response I've had towards Sodexho's services at UVM has been passionate disgust.
Them's fightin' words. Anybody listening?
