Oh Mule Bar, your beers are ever changing and always deliciously exciting, your burgers are delicious, your ambiance is relaxed and chill during the week and perfectly lively but still adult on the weekends. My only problem with you is that other people love you too so seats are always hard to come by. Thank you for coming to Winooski.

What a supprise!
My wife and I just left The Mule Bar and it was terrific. We both had steak frites, medium rare and arugula salad with pickled onion. The steak was perfectly cooked, the fries crispy and the salad tasty. I washed it down with the best ginger beer around. An outstanding meal, this one is a keeper! Food: 5 Ambiance: 4 Service: 5

A group of six of us were at Mule Bar last evening for "Taco Tuesday". We enjoyed a Poutine , tacos and beers. A few of our group wanted Margaritas, which they normally don't do, however server and the bartender made it happen! THANK YOU!! The beer list is good, the food was really good, the outdoor atmosphere was great, our server was the best! Mule Bar, we will be back !!

Smoked Apple Butter FTW
The beer selection is great. The decor cannot be beat. The service is friendly and prompt. But the smoked apple butter on the cheese and charcuterie plates? A revelation. I was reduced to speaking in a stream of joyful expletives upon trying it. Get a pint, some cheese, and smear that awesome apple butter all over a slice of grilled bread. You're welcome. Excellent good, strange food ordering setup
The bar is great, the food truly excellent but it really doesn't work to fight the crowds at the bar to place a food order and then pay your bill. Table service feels like the way to go with such a small space. The peanut butter ice cream and chocolate cake were outstanding - some of the best I've had. Mule Bar is great gastro-pub and a wonderful addition to noshing in the 'Noosk. Food: 4 Ambiance: 2 Service: 2

I love Mule Bar. I frequent their spot on Taco Tuesday. They have an awesome selection of beers on tap and event a draught cocktail - among others. The food is super tasty, consistent and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is clean and bright. It's turning into my regular spot! I would recommend!

Chewy Cheeks
The service was terrific and friendly. The fish and chips were less than could be desired. The string fries were terrific, but the choice of haddock cheeks for the fish was disastrous. The fish was so chewy that at first I thought it wasn't fully cooked because it had the texture of raw fish. But upon examination, it was clear the fish was cooked and that was just the texture of haddock cheeks. When I order fish and chips, I expect the fish to be hot and flaky, not so chewy that I had to tear a bite from the piece of fish. Not a pleasant experience. Food: 2 Ambiance: 3 Service: 4
