SOUTH LONDONDERRY - If you thought stashing funny money under the Monopoly board was foul play, consider what a South Londonderry man allegedly did to his checkers partner.
Vermont State Police arrested Solomon Henderson, 35, of South Londonderry, earlier this month after a board game he was playing with fellow resident Howard Thompson turned into an assault. Police said Henderson struck Thompson in the head with the board, opening up a gash on his head.
Thompson was treated and released from an area hospital. Henderson was charged with aggravated assault.
