Great lakeside location!!
I love the location of The Cafe Window! It's nice to be able to sit out on the deck with Lake Champlain as your backdrop. Food is very casual, but well prepared and a nice variety on the menu. I had the Tomato, Mozzarella and basil baguette and it was amazing! The baguette was incredibly fresh and the tomatoes were perfectly ripened. My understanding is that they purchase their bread from Juniors which is definitely a plus. I will surely be back to soak up the fleeting rays of summer on their deck and try out some other yummy options on their menu. Food: 5 Ambiance: 4 Service: 5

welcome to the bay
We stopped in today to get a take-out menu. We got that - along with a sandwich-to-go after seeing the menu. The Henrietta was very good, with thick-cut turkey, crunchy bacon, avocado, and some optional cheese and more veggies. We wish them well. We will be back. The name could have been 'The Bay Window' as it has a great view overlooking Malletts Bay. The patio looks inviting - once the snow melts and spring arrives. Food: 5 Ambiance: 4 Service: 5

my new brunch spot!
Tried out The Cafe Window this weekend for their new brunch menu and was very pleased. I had the cinnamon waffles with honey butter and my guy had the roast beef hash. both were awesome! everything seemed really fresh and each had some unique flavors. We will definitely be going back! Nice lunch menu
The Cafe Window has a great lunch menu. It doesn't have much to choose from, but the food is fresh. I had the TMB and it was very tasty. I recommend this restaurant for a nice quite lunch. Food: 4 Ambiance: 4 Service: 4

MY husband and I decided to try BE for the first time last evening. He ordered the pulled pork, which came with rice and beans. He really enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken and biscuits, which would have been quite good, except there was absolutely NO chicken in it. None. Zero. Nada. Whenever I have ordered C&B at any other restaurant, it is always loaded with meat. I am not exaggerating when I say there was no meat in this entree. The waitress DID take the cost of the entree off our check, which only seemed fair. The servings are on the small side. If you're extremely hungry, this isn't the place for you. Not sure if we'll return in the future. IF we do, it will be for brunch or lunch. Not dinner.

Good eats
Stopped by for a sit down lunch. Had the Henrietta, my husband got a turkey sandwich. Portions were generous. Food was fresh and tasty. Light airy atmosphere, very clean. Menu is a little small but has a decent variety. Will probably go back. Worth a try for sure. Food: 4 Ambiance: -1 Service: -1
