Great setting, great meal
Tempted by the Friday night High Country BBQ, we headed up with a visitor. Amid all the new construction, we easily found a place to park and made our way in. The restaurant is beautiful, with comfy and unique seating, interesting decor, and great views. Tram ride was awesome and easy. The BBQ itself was very well prepared. Good variety and attentive replenishment. Buffet style usually doesn't attract me, but this worked wonderfully. Service was brisk and helpful. The chef even made it over to our table to ask about our meals. Pricing was very reasonable for food and drinks. Firepits and smores to round out the night. Highly recommended, this is a gem of a find on a warm, autumn evening. Food: 4 Ambiance: 5 Service: 5

Have I got a deal for you...
Friday night BBQ at Alice's Table is a great deal! For $15.95 you get: 1)A free pass to take the tram to the top of Jay peak 2) All you can eat BBQ and fixings 3) A plate of graham crackers, marshmallows, and Ghirardelli chocolate with which to make s'mores by a lovely fire pit under the stars 4) a receipt that is good for 10% off their Thursday all-you-can eat Tapas or Wednesdays 2 for $25 meal. The food is pretty good, definitely worth the deal. The fried turkey was outstanding, and there were some spicy jalapeno corn muffins to sop up the BBQ sauce of your choice . I didn't try it all but there was plenty to choose from (ribs, kielbasa sliders, mac and cheese, veggie lasagna, a variety of salads and slaws, apple crisp, salad). However, the s'mores clinched it for me. It was lovely to finish the meal by lounging outside in Adirondack chairs by the fire. I wish we had known to go early enough to take advantage of the included tram ride, but now we know, and will definitely be back before this great deal ends in October.
